ABOUT CROP

We are a Raglan based boutique flower farm which prides itself on bringing you the latest in long-lasting cut flower varieties.

Our aim is to help set floral designers apart in the industry with our focus on ruthless quality and long vase life selection. This means you get gorgeous - and often very ‘different’ or unique looking blooms that you and your clients can enjoy for the longest time possible.

We are always on the hunt for new and interesting takes on the old floral faves (our “Gerberas that don’t look like Gerberas” have gone down a treat), but also grow the ever popular ‘classics’ – for example dahlias, zinnias, snapdragons, lisianthus, celosia, asters and so on.

CROP is a wholesale provider mostly selling to florists, floral designers, stylists and NZ creatives.

However, from time to time, CROP dabbles in some retail offerings for consumers with CROP POP-UPs, and we have been at markets, Four Square and the Raglan Garden Club to name a few. CROP’s dried flower bouquets and organic confetti have also been available in gift hampers.

CROP has been on the front covers of both Coast and Country and Waikato Farming Lifestyles newspapers, as well as in the LOCAL RAG and on the Country Life show on Radio NZ.

  • Lorraine, Wild About Eve florist, Raglan

“Nicky from CROP is my go-to flower farmer and supplier of beautiful, fresh blooms. She is particular and passionate with her flower farming processes and so I always receive the best quality stock. It’s always exciting to receive my weekly order from Nicky, and to use in my designs the latest flower type that is blooming on her farm that week. Over the past few seasons, Nicky has been adding to the blooms that she grows, so there is always a great variety to create with. It’s such a pleasure to be in this flower farmer/florist industry alongside her.”

  • Melody’s New World, Palmerston North

“Your flowers this week were beautiful! It has been so amazing having your products again! All the wholesale product we get at the moment is very boring.”

  • Julie Senington, Kānuka Boutique Florist, Rotorua

We opened our florist store, Kānuka Boutique Florist, in 2020 just after Covid, and wanted all things unique, beautiful and sustainable for our little store in Rotorua. I had been following CROP on Instagram for a while and Nicky had really inspired me with her gorgeous blooms so much so that I knew we had to have her product in our store!

Now into our 5th year, CROP are a huge part of our business and the florals she provides us just get better and better every year, we couldn't be without them and Nicky is such a joy to work with 🌸

  • Ange Hardy, Leef Floral Design, Raglan

“I've had the pleasure of discovering CROP and I can't express how delightful my experiences have been. From the garden bursting with colours, to the warm and inviting atmosphere of the farm, every aspect is enchanting. The owner Nicky is incredibly passionate about flower growing and her love for what she does shines through in every bloom. The selection of flowers available is simply stunning - from classic dahlias and sunflowers, to stock and snapdragons, and they clearly reflect the care and attention they receive. If you're looking for a delightful flower grower that combines quality, sustainability and a personal touch, look no further than CROP Flower Farm and support such a wonderful woman and local business.”
