GRAB A CROP-DROP
We are a wholesale
flower grower
…meaning we mostly provide our flowers at wholesale prices for florists, floral designers, event organisers, and creatives. This is the mainstay of our business.
After a bouquet?
If you’re local and after a bouquet, we can help you out, dependent on stock availability in the farm. We do usually have an impressive variety in the field in season, meaning some beautiful abundant bouquets can be made up. Please get in touch to discuss.
Minimum order is $50 with $5 delivery in Raglan and immediate surrounds. We’re happy to have a chat and if we can’t help you out, or you’re looking for something more particular, unique or involved (e.g roses, a wreath, formal bouquet, casket spray etc) we can put you in touch with one of our four fabulous and very talented Raglan florists.
Our signature product,
“Best-in-Bloom-Boxes”
Our BBBs are the cornerstone of our business and are very popular with florists. To find out more about these, have a sneaky peek at our page.
Fresh flowers
Our seasonal, field-grown, cut flower varieties are available from late October until after Mother’s Day in mid May. We sometimes have flowers beyond this, depending on the ultimate wahine mama boss, Mother Nature.
We love to hunt out new and interesting varieties, and Nicky likes to use her ex-PR trendhunting and research skills to see what’s coming up a year in advance and plan and plant accordingly. We buy seeds from all over the world, following strict MPI regulations to protect this beautiful microcosm of Planet Earth we have here in NZ.
What this means is that we have a very interesting array of flower varieties that you often wouldn’t find at a traditional wholesaler. Some people refer to them as “home grown garden style varieties” but we refer to them as “our superstars”.
Examples include Lisianthus, Celosia, Asters, Madame Butterfly Snapdragons, Larkspur, Cosmos, Zinnias, Dahlias, Chrysanthemums, Orache, Sweet William, Amaranth, Floss Flower, Eucomis, Eryngium, Echinops, Rice Flower, Proteas, Bread Seed Poppies, and so on.
Our minimum wholesale price to florists is $60, excluding delivery. As we are a boutique farm (read: small), we need to manage inventory carefully so please get in touch if you’re keen on receiving our bountiful, beautiful blooms.
Dried flowers
Dried floral trends come and go and over the past five years, we’ve seen a resurgence in blooms that can be dried.
The dried flower wreaths, jaw dropping hanging installations and bridal bouquets are proving that we’ve come a very long way since the purple statice or old-fashioned potpourri in the undies drawer or on the back of the toilet. At CROP, we’re starting to now see a real mix of dried and fresh together in bouquets, and so the demand is still there for these everlasting, fuss-free flowers.
We sell our dried florals throughout the season and our regular clients and newsletter subscribers get first dibs. Our minimum order is $60, excluding delivery.
We also provide bespoke ‘Mini Dried Flower Bouquets’ for gift hampers and can supply mini bouquets, strawflower heads or organic dried flower confetti. We also make beautiful dried flower brooches/ pins. Get in touch for more details.
There is something uniquely delicate and mesmerising about dry flowers: stuck in a weird, transitory world of not alive but not quite dead.
We dry all our flowers completely naturally in an airy workshop, and use no preservatives or dyes. This is really important to us: we are always completely blown away by the rainbows that Mother Nature offers, and like to honour and preserve her beauty for as long as possible, in the most authentic way possible.
